Avoids Year Breaker day, Month Breaker Day & Day Breaker day

Year breaker days Ladies should avoid any important works on these days especially long term beauty treatments like botox or laser therapy. Things are bound to go wrong and you are likely to face unnecessary delays and obstacles. In worse case your treatment could go wrong.

Personally, I avoid buying clothes or important household items on these days. The color of the clothes fade away or they tend to tear quickly. Household items will malfunction later on (the timer in my washing machine still doesn’t work properly).

Why are these days so stressful? According to feng shui date selection system, these are days which are in direct confrontation with the annual Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the year of the Water Dragon (Ren Chen), the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is Dog (Xu). This means the energy of such dates is against the year’s energy therefore everything is in disarray.

Generally it is advisable not to start any long term venture during these days. Avoid opening new business, launching new products, proposing marriage, getting married, getting engaged and signing important contracts.

If you are getting married on a year breaker day you will run into marital problems ranging from a nagging wife or worse a domineering mother in law, interfering parents in law, third party intervention, communication problems with your spouse and the list is endless.

In my own personal experience I have found that on the year breaker days you can expect your plans to be disrupted, unexpected obstacles to crop up and last minute changes to happen.

Month breaker days
These are similar to the above mentioned dates except that you face the brunt of it faster. Ladies avoid opting for any beauty treatments or shopping on these dates. Better to wait one day then have a bad haircut for a month.

Why is it worse than the year breaker days? In feng shui date selection system these are days which are in direct confrontation with the monthly Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the Chinese month of the Tiger (February/March), the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is monkey (shen) animal sign. Therefore the outcome is bad and fast.

Generally it is advisable not to start any venture during these days. Since these are month breaker days you will feel the brunt of it faster. Avoid getting married, moving house, signing important contracts, scheduling opening of new business, launching of new products, renovations or construction.

If you intend to start a new business on a month breaker day chances are high it will not take off or you will run into financial problems due to which you will have to close the business down.

If you start your construction work on this particular day chances are high you will run into different kinds of problems – labor management issues, wrong plans, delay in delivery from different suppliers and delay in completion of project due to unavoidable problems.

In my own personal experience, month breaker days are days when appointments get cancelled or rescheduled, things don’t work as they have been planned and definitely obstacles in all that you plan to do for the day.

Dealing with year breaker and month breaker day
Wouldn’t it be great if you could tell your boss that it is the year breaker day and you can’t work? If only life would be so simple.

The best way I have found to deal with these inauspicious days is not to plan any major events or ventures on this day, this includes opening bank accounts, applying for loan, talking to boss regarding pay raise, starting a new job, starting school for your children, starting anything new, talking to spouse regarding relationship issues (unless you are looking for a divorce), making financial investments, starting a legal procedure, opting for medical procedures.

Ladies should avoid any grooming sessions (pedicures, botox, haircuts, facials etc) on these days as effects won’t be long lasting e.g. a facial could make your skin go dry instead of a healthy glow. You can do grocery and vegetable shopping but avoid clothes shopping and visit to the salons on these dates.

Understanding “Three killing days”
You always hear awful stories of someone being robbed while traveling or raped while on a date. You worry every time you or your daughter go out with a new person. In date selection method there are certain dates when chances of such incidences happening are increased. All you have to do is avoid these dates for travel or going on a date with a new person.

In feng shui date selection system these days are known as “Three killing days”, don’t get terrified by the name as it is a direct translation of its Chinese name, saan sha. There are three kinds of saan sha’s – robbery sha days, calamity sha days and annual sha days.

Robbery sha days
Have you ever lost your baggage while traveling or misplaced your important documents or lost your cell phone while traveling? Chances are high this incident would have occurred on a robbery sha day. In worst case scenario you could get injured while traveling on such days.

As the name indicates these are days when you may get robbed easily especially while traveling. It indicates problems while traveling like losing your baggage or losing important documents/items.

Dealing with robbery sha days
Since robbery sha days indicate problems while traveling, avoid scheduling any work or personal related traveling plans on such days. Be careful with your personal belongings especially while traveling.

Calamity sha days
These days are related to injuries, illness or physical harm. It indicates relationship problems and problems with the opposite sex. On these days you may hear reports of rape, murder due to illicit relationships, physical abuse of spouse etc. Parents should take careful note of these dates.

Dealing with calamity sha days
Since calamity sha days indicate injuries etc, it is best to avoid any form of medical surgeries or invasive diagnostic procedures during this day, especially if it is being performed by the member of the opposite sex. On a more personal note avoid scheduling new romantic rendezvous especially blind dates on such days. Avoid going for gatherings or parties with new people or friends.

Annual sha days
Have you applied for your visa to travel or study abroad but somehow things are not just getting done. Maybe unknowingly you applied on an annual sha day. Annual sha days are related to procrastination, unexpected delays and obstacles. The annual sha days bring in ‘slowness’ in people and things just don’t seem to move in the pace they ought to.

Dealing with annual sha days
Since annual sha days indicate procrastination and unexpected delays, it is best to avoid any form of activity that requires quick processing for e.g. you require a personal loan within the next 5 days then it would be wise to avoid the annual sha days for submitting your documents. Avoid starting new projects on such days as it will be slow to finish. Don’t deal in property on such days.

Have stress free days in 2013 - avoid tai sui, tsui po & san sha days in 2013

Every year, due to the position of the stars, certain days are deemed inauspicious for any kind of endeavors. On these inauspicious days you are likely to end up being stressed and unhappy. Avoid these dates and save yourself a nervous breakdown.
At the end of the article I have provided a list of dates which are inauspicious in the Chinese year of the Gui Si – water snake (4th February 2013 to 4th February 2014). Keep a cut out of these dates in your wallet or bag or you could stick it to your refrigerator or mark it in your calendar.
It is important to avoid any form of important official, business or personal activity on these particular days.
Year breaker (tsui po) days
You should avoid any starting any important work on such days. Your plans will not go smoothly and you will face delays and hindrances.
Ladies should avoid any important works on these days especially long term beauty treatments like botox or laser therapy. Things are bound to go wrong and you are likely to face unnecessary delays and obstacles. In worse case your treatment could go wrong.
On the business front, I avoid making any form of important decisions on such days. Personally, I avoid buying clothes or important household items on these days. The colour of the clothes fade away or they tend to tear quickly. Household items will malfunction later on (the ringer on my washing machine still doesn’t work properly).
Why are these days so stressful? These are days which are in direct confrontation with the annual Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the year of the water snake (gui si), the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is pig (hai).
These are days which are in direct confrontation with the monthly Chinese animal sign. For e.g. in the Chinese month of the Tiger (February/March), the Chinese animal sign in direct confrontation is monkey (shen) animal sign.

You can do grocery and vegetable shopping but avoid clothes shopping and visit to the salons on these dates.

If you do have to travel on such days then be careful with your belongings.
Calamity sha days
These days are related to injuries, illness or physical harm. It indicates relationship problems and problems with the opposite sex. On these days you may hear reports of rape, murder due to illicit relationships, physical abuse of spouse etc. Parents should take careful note of these dates.

Avoid starting new projects on such days as it will be slow to finish. Don’t deal in property on such days.
